Too much going on , here's the rumpus.
Cannot say enough about the time we had at the Henrici's House Concert in Cooperstown NY. Thanks to Judi and Pete for being mega hosts. The Kat and I have done two house concerts, one for The Henrici's and one at Cot and Crackers house concerts run by our friends Bruce and Sue ( by the way Sue ta for the recipe). We love house concerts, just love them. So if anyone is interested in running a concert at their home give a a call, did I mention we just love house concerts.
Here are some house concert websites:

When is The McKrells not The McKrells
OK an issue that seems to need clearing up ,and I fully admit this muckup to be entirely my doing. The Kat and I are The McKrells by virtue of the fact that that is our name. Nuff said. Now .
What are they called when there is the full band and if I call for tix ,do I ask is it The McKrells ? or The McKrells ?, It's the McKrells, yup I know, but is it The McKrells with the bunch of guys they play with, or the McKrells with just that fella with the nose and the wise-ass daughter. They used to be called the Hard Road Cei...kayl... key.. Fer Jaysus sake who has a band name that people can't pronounce. I know ...I know. I am working on it. Any thoughts let me know.
I will again be writing the memories of Catholic school and posting them . The dust seems to have settled a bit and I will be changing the name of this endeavor or coNUNdrum if you will. Although the name I used was not due to any remembrance of any nun in particular but because it had a poetic ring to it a certain feel. So I will be looking for that again, any suggestions welcome . Other than the suggestion that I perform an act previously suggested that I, due to the lack of any engineering degree, am ill equipped to perform.
I am trying to keep the guest-book open on the website but we are getting spammed.

June 14th
Ramblin’ Jug Stompers and The McKrells
First Baptist Church, 43 Washington St.
5 p.m.
Admission: $10, $5 with ARTSPASS
A gathering of many of the Capital Region’s most superlative performers, including The McKrells newest and unquestionably most brilliant and electrifying ensemble to date! Celtic influences meet head-on with unanticipated, eclectic rhythms, while the personas of each band member bring a spirit-seizing synergy and dynamism to the stage. The Ramblin’ Jug Stompers blends some of the foremost luminaries of the regional music scene-members of legendary Blotto, the Rumdummies, and the Star-Spangled Washboard Band to name a few—with a style that nods to the great tradition of American string band music while winking directly at the classic jug bands of the 60’s folk scene. A funky ensemble with a fresh approach!
June 15th
Dads and Daughters Concert
First Baptist Church, 43 Washington St., 4 – 6 p.m.
Admission: $10, $5 with ARTSPASS
Kevin and Katie McKrell have been working on their on-stage patter
since the day she was born. Two years ago they decided to take it
on the road. Since then, they have played their brand of original
and contemporary folk mixed with Kevin’s Celtic influence and
Katie’s punk Americana leanings. They have performed as a duo or
with their band, The McKrells, in venues and festivals around the
USA and Europe. Their eclectic music, as well as their comical and
compelling on-stage personas, has drawn sold-out crowds wherever
they perform.
Sarah Pedinotti and Dave Pedinotti:
Sarah was inspired at an early age to compose music on her parents’
out-of-tune upright piano. Her father, Dave, played songs on guitar
and banjo and taught Sarah songs he learned from the blues revival
of the 1960s. Over the years she has sung with many local and
famous musicians, including Wynton Marsalis’ Lincoln Center Jazz
Orchestra members Marcus Printup, Eric Lewis and Ali Jackson. In
2005, her latest album, One Mirror, was listed by Billboard
Magazine as one of the ten best new albums of the year.
